Episode 3: Factory makes new dreams for Ningxia women

After years of struggle and effort, China has finally fulfilled its generational mission to eliminate absolute poverty. China Daily's foreign reporters Jocelyn Eikenburg and Matt Bossons traveled across the country to discover the stories behind people's efforts to overcome poverty.
In this episode, Jocelyn goes to Minning town in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, where she meets a woman named Haiyan at a poverty alleviation factory. Haiyan used to be a housewife, but working at the factory, which sells goji berries through online platforms, has transformed her life. Check out the video to discover her story.
