It marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician Zhu. Zhu was one of the main pioneers of China's nuclear science industry, a recipient of the medal for "Two Bombs, One Satellite," and also the first president of the CAE.
"We commemorate Zhu to learn from his loyalty to the Party and his dedication to the motherland," he said.
Li said that CAE must learn from his rigorous pursuit of truth and his scientific spirit of scaling new heights, engaging in the main battlefield of scientific and technological innovation, grasping the strategic opportunities of the new round of technological revolution, industrial transformation and accelerating breakthroughs in key core technologies.
