Romano Prodi: Let us use education as the first link between China and Italy

Established in 2024 with a donation from the Agnelli Foundation, the Agnelli Chair of Italian Culture at Peking University is managed by the China-Europe Philanthropy Innovation Research Center. It aims to promote advanced studies and academic exchange between China and Italy.
In a recent interview with China Daily, Romano Prodi, former prime minister of Italy and former president of the European Commission, emphasized that the Agnelli Chair of Italian Culture brings China and Italy together, and is a cultural approach between the two countries. "Let us use education as the first link between China and Italy," Prodi said.
