Cheongsam-clad visitors explore imperial history in Shenyang
During the 2025 Shenyang Qipao Culture Season, over 30 international students from 15 countries, wearing locally designed original cheongsams, visited the Shenyang Imperial Palace to experience the culture and take photos.
At Nashi Cheongsam Studio, the Oriental aesthetics embodied in the delicate button knots and stitches left the students exclaiming in awe.
At the palace, they became cultural envoys, feeling the charm of history and culture in elegant Chinese cheongsams. They also immersed themselves in the vibrant daily life of Shenyang at Xita Food Street.
"I'm thrilled to have the chance to wear such beautiful cheongsams and wander through the vermilion walls and emerald-glazed tiles of the Shenyang Imperial Palace," said international student Nozzari Varkani Fatemeh. "I've already fallen in love with this city full of humanistic charm."
