Lhasa community concert ignites festive New Year spirit

Lhasa, capital of Xizang autonomous region, welcomed a vibrant wave of music and celebration on Dec 20 as a New Year community concert lit up Dzongyab Lukhang Park.
The event was part of the festivities marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of Xizang autonomous region.
The concert featured a rich and diverse program, including traditional instrumental ensembles, children's Tibetan Opera shows, and solo and duet performances.
Residents from different ethnic groups gathered in high spirits, singing and celebrating the region's remarkable development and social progress. The joyful atmosphere reflected their shared hopes for the coming year.
